Week 2

I started work on Valentines day and the day my mom happened to be in town. Needless to say I was not happy to be at new job feeling completely lost because I had no idea what I was doing. But it all turned out ok. I started to understand a little bit of my job, Meriah let me take her car so I didn't have to take the bus my first day, and after work I got to see my mom!!! Mom, Aubrey, Meriah, Ryan, Jameson, Savannah, and I all went to dinner. We went to Texas Roadhouse and it was a mad house! There were a million people but after an hour (during this hour we played the Moffat traditional Valentine Bingo and the kids loved it!) of waiting for our table we sat down and enjoyed a delicious dinner! Then we all came back to our apartment which was clean because my sweet husband loves me and cleaned it before I got home from work and we hung out a little and then everyone went home. It was a great day!!
my valentine! It was my first valentines day with a valentine and I loved it!
not the best picture but it will do
we didn't get to see Kate and Sam (the boyfriend) but i love this picture and it was kind of for Valentines day so I decided it was appropriate to put post
Best mom, amazing sister, and cutest nephew
and cutest niece
So far week two of work is great! It is nice to be busy again. I never have down time at work which I love because it means that I don't get bored and the day goes so fast! I don't start work till 9 every day and I LOVE that! I have always worked from 8-5 and that makes for a long day but only being at work for 8 instead of 9 is so much better! The only down side is that I am only work 35ish hours a week. I feel a little bit like I am barely keeping my head above the water at work though. There is so much to learn and sometimes I get so confused! But it will all be ok. I am just so blessed to finally have a job (even if I walk half an hour to the bus stop and then ride the bus for half an hour and then walk another 10-15 minutes to get to work). Life is GRAND!

Work

Here is my opinion on job interviews, they are annoying, they take too much time, and I hate when they don't yield a job. Monday I had one interview set up for the morning and then that afternoon someone else called me and asked me to come in for an interview for that same afternoon. The interviews were pretty much the exact same. They asked the standard questions and I was so bored, I had done it a million times already. Then, at the end of the second interview he asked me to take a dictation to see if my handwriting was legible. After the dictation I had to check my work and for everyone who knows me, they know that I am HORRIBLE at spelling and I had misspelled about 5-10 words in one paragraph. WOW. After that I was positive that I was not going to get that job. But then, two days later they called me and I GOT A JOB! I am employed!!! It is not a dream job but it will due for now. I will be the receptionist for

Safeguard for Business :: Products and services to help your business grow!
They are a company that print logos and things for other companies. I hope they keep me busy otherwise I will be bored but I am very glad to have a job!!! I start on Monday.
I am kind of sad to now be working full time but it is a necessary evil. I love getting up whenever I want, I love spending the day reading or doing crafts, I love being here when Ryan gets home from school everyday, I love being able to go to lunch with my sister or see my niece and nephew, I love not having to be somewhere all day everyday. But, a jog is good too, we all need money. So we will see how Monday goes! Wish me luck!

The Wedding

I had the best day ever on November 20, 2010. I got married to my best friend, what could be happier than that!!!!! Here are some of my favorite pictures.
He loves me
My cake. I think it turned out ok
Yes, it rained on my wedding day and it was perfect!
We love these people
I don't think it can get more precious than this
I walked out and Kate started crying and I told her that I couldn't look at her because she was making me cry.

We finally joined to club

So here we are, a blog about married life. I feel like a kid who finally got to sit at the grown up table. We are married, we moved to Provo, we are broke, and we are happy. This is livin' the life. Ryan goes to school all day long and is looking for a part time job and I sit at home all day long trying to find things to occupy my time with. I am currently looking for a job with no luck but with some leads so we will see what happens. We live on the mountain in Provo and have an awesome view.
Our balcony looks down on Provo
And our front yard is the side of the mountain.
Once I moved to Rexburg I swore I would never live in Provo but here I am and at least for the next 4 years. I am going to get bored fast so I need ideas! What are some fun things to do in Provo that are cheap seeing as how we are both currently unemployed (but desperately trying to change that so if you hear of any jobs send them our way)? We are up for anything. We love watching our fav TV shows (Scrubs, The Office, House, Glee (well I love it) and recently added, Castle) but there is only so much TV you can watch until you go crazy. So we need ideas.
